Sigmoidoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy is a medical procedure used to examine the lower part of the colon (sigmoid colon and rectum) using a flexible tube with a camera.

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
A technique combining endoscopy and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions of the bile ducts and pancreatic ducts, such as blockages or stones.

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Diagnostic and Fine-Needle Aspiration (FNAC)
A minimally invasive procedure for detailed imaging and biopsy of digestive organs, used for diagnosing tumors and abnormalities.

Esophageal Manometry for Achalasia and Motility Disorders
A test to evaluate esophageal muscle function, helping diagnose swallowing disorders like achalasia.

Esophageal pH Monitoring
A diagnostic procedure to measure acid levels in the esophagus and diagnose GERD and other acid reflux conditions.

Fibroscan
A non-invasive test that measures liver stiffness to assess the degree of liver fibrosis or cirrhosis.

The breath test for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and peptic ulcer disease (PUD)
A test that detects bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine and identifies peptic ulcers caused by H. pylori infection.

Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)

Upper GI Endoscopy
- Diagnostic with/without biopsy
- Therapeutic Endoscopy with EVL(Banding),polypectomy,Ulcer bleed management,EMR,Argon Plasma Coagulation and Stenting
This can be done on OPD basis
This procedure requires 8 hours solid food fasting and 2 hours clear liquid fasting.
It is done under local anesthesia.
Symptoms include heartburn,abdominal pain,vomiting, difficulty in food swallowing,loss of appetite and blood in vomiting.

Colonoscopy and Sigmoidoscopy
- Diagnostic with/without biopsy
- Other diagnostic procedures like Polypectomy,EMR/ESD,Argon Plasma Coagulation(APC) and Stenting
This can be done on OPD basis
Requires prior preparation where medication given for bowel cleaning
Complete fasting is not required wrt solid food but clear liquid fasting is suggested
Symptoms include constipation, bleeding in stool, Anemia and chronic Diarrhea
